shop upgrade and certified companies

Hi,

 

I use prestashop already for 3 years and quite happy with the platform. At the moment I use a free theme 'matrice' and my shop's version is 1.4.10.

I am starting new shop from scratch, version 1.5.4 and bought theme from omegathems.com. When installing the premium theme, I noticed there have been made changes to classes and modules files. 1. My question is what happens on a future update 1.5.4 -> 1.5.5. Using the module 1-click update, most probably there will be bugs fixes and classes files will be changed, therefore my premium theme will show error and debugging will be needed.

2. My second question is. Do certified prestashop template companies create themes without editing class files and therefore updates will not affect the shop and errors will be avoided.

 

I also asked omegatheme in their forum for advice and would like to have a clear view what to do before I release my new project.
