Today i want to show you how to increase the number of the autocomplete search results.

 

By default there is only 10 results. You can increase the value of the results displayed in the hints. You can also decrease its number.

Could you possibly steer me in the right direction.

We would like the manufacturer name to appear in the ajax search.

 

Similar to what you have listed below with categories but have the manufacturer name instead.

You have to change the MAX parameter in one more file for 1.6.0.9.

How can we fix the size of the dropdown according to the no. of results and put a scroll bar in the drop down?

Vekia, is there a way to get this to work on the latest version release? I've tried the changes suggested here and still only get 10 results from the instant search results.
