Split categories menu to 2 panels

Hello, is there any module or tip how to split categories menu to 2 panels?

with default block categories module it isn't possible

only after code modification, but it isn't as simple as it seems

 

what to do?

you can use {if} condition to check category id

for example, if category id == 3 then close all elements </li></ul></div> and create new with new header etc.

 

 

it's a workaround
