rgwhitaker
I want to create a Prestasho site, with a particular theme. But at the top of the theme, along the global menu, I want to add a "Blog" link that'll link to a WordPress blog, hosted on the same server as the Prestashop site. Will there be any conflicts between Prestashop and WordPress? I plan on having the WordPress blog in its own directory like /public_html/blog/wp-content/themes/myblog. Thanks. PrestaCoder.com
Hi, Yes it is possible. If you will use different directories and different databases you will not have any problems. After you install your blog, just place a link on the Prestashop main menu to the blog. Usually the default theme and most commercial themes does allow you to do this. Just go to Prestashop Back Office > Modules > Top Horizontal Menu and add your own link there. On the blog just place a link to your shop on the top menu and that's all.
