Fatal error: Call to undefined method Tools::getMemoryLimit()

For some time I have been getting: Fatal error: Call to undefined method Tools::getMemoryLimit() on several places in the back office - when I click on Modules or in some categories of product catalog (but not all). Front office seems to work well.

 

Hi, I have PS 1.4.7 and tried upgrading to 1.4.11, but the exact same problem persists. I don't want to upgrade to 1.5, because of incompatible theme.

 

I am confused and can't find anything helpful online. Could you please help me? Do you know what is the getMemoryLimit() function? Would it be helpful to copy the function definition from some working prestashop and place it in some php file in my PS?

Check the version of your Tools.php. This function is available from early v1.4 and it looks like you use an old version of Tools.php or you have patched this file inappropriately.
