Hi Community..

I would like to know whether in this forum is there anybody from Malaysia? It is good to know with any other Malaysian here and we might benefit each other in terms of knowledge sharing and social ( well, we might speak Malay here.. of course!).

I am new to Prestashop but I find that Prestashop is really nice open-source platform for e-Commerce based website. If you do feel the same then we are now buddies.

Feel free to reply here and hopefully we can gather virtually here (or perhaps.. in real if possible).

My main purpose on this thread is to gather Malaysian Prestashop Community..
Hope this thread is useful to you.

Well, here is a good news. Payment modules are ready for :
 
  1. Maybank 
  2. CIMB 
  3. Public Bank 
  4. Ambank
  5. RHB  
  6. Affin Bank
  7. Alliance Bank 
  8. Hong Leong Bank 
  9. HSBC 
  10. OCBC

    *You may use more than 1 modules together and no conflict between modules. No errors. Tested on live Prestashop websites. 

For PS Version 1.6++ (these modules were customized and improvised to provide easier and simpler checkout experience.)

 

I will share much more about this in future (maybe a video on how these modules could be wonderful for Prestashop fan here)

Hmm.. memang begitulah. Thread ini dibuka semata-mata mahu mengenali berapa ramai yang mahu berhubungan sesama sendiri Malaysian yang minat Prestashop. 

Jadi kalau kita dapat kenal sesama kita, alangkah bagusnya. Memang tak dinafikan kita tidak terkedepan dalam IT ni, tapi tak bermakna ia tiada langsung. Sebelum saya juga masih mengikuti forum BI, kerana mereka lebih meriah thread2nya.. tapi perasaan kalau boleh berkomunikasi dalam bahasa Melayu di forum Prestashop adalah satu perasaan yang diimpikan setiap Malaysian. 

 

Malah, tujuan utama thread ini dibuka bukan pula untuk melawan thread2 BI, tapi ianya sekadar ingin mengumpulkan Malaysian Prestashopper semata-mata.. Jadi saudara-saudari yang singgah di thread ini amat bermakna kerana ianya melambangkan ada juga rakyat Malaysia yang berjuang di arena Prestashop ini; anda bukan keseorangan.. hehe

 

Jadi, anggaplah Thread ini sebagai permulaan jika anda suka untuk mengenali Prestashopper di Malaysia..

siapa ada module online transfer maybank/cimb?

 

module direct ke? bukan bende nih kne eregister merchant account dgn bank dulu kn? Sory andai aku salah, sbb aku pun x pernah guna direct module lagi, aku just guna "Bankwire" transfer je, aku letak no akaun aku dalam tuh.

Untuk Paypal di Malaysia, you boleh download paypal Europe, isi tempat kosong untuk API.

Lupa nak cakap, thanks Lance. Sekarang masalah nak integrate shipping carrier untuk international delivery. Ada sesiapa yang tau XML coding? Saya dah ada semua details (API, etc) untuk enable/integrate shipping carrier (DHL/USPS) dalam website, tapi taktau macam mana nak implement. Sebab dia takde module. Siapa2 yang sudi bantu, sila tampil. Terima kasih banyak.

anyone can recommend Malaysian hosting provider that has good Prestashop installation?

 

I have tried https://www.shinjiru.com.my/ but it always crashed when I tried to do Prestashop v1.0.6.8 Multistore function.

 

I also hosted at www.ipxcess.com but they cannot support my Prestashop installation

 

 

any feedback is welcome.

I don't know about Malaysian hosting with Prestashop. But I'm using Siteground, FYI. Auto installation, and very good customer service -- livechat & instant ticket reply.

 

What are you using right now?

Hi sy newbie menggunkan prestashop. Sekarang sy guna latets prestashop ver 1.6.09 kalau x silap. sy perlukan payment module seperti bank in. phone order untuk local bank seperti maybank & cimb.

installed prestashop version 1.6.0.11, installed paypal as one of the payment option, was trying on your modified bankwire module but upon check out, upon choosing the payment option via your payment module, it come up with error 404, it seems like the prestashop system couldn't find the payment page nor the confirmation page. I guess its compatibility issues or something, is there any way ya could help me out on this matters?

p/s : tried the normal bankwire module still came out error 404 like my bitpay module, the only one working would be paypal :wacko:

I faced some problem regarding payment transaction.

I just want to know is it possible if i want to add upload transaction prove page in prestashop.

Means that, i just allow cust to bank in manually an just upload transaction slip at that page.

Anyone can help me?

Hi everybody! I am coming back to this thread. Lately I'd been involved with Customized Web Developments. It's my bread and butter. I do Drupal and Prestashops.

 

Well, here is a good news. Payment modules are ready for :

 

  1. Maybank
  2. CIMB
  3. Public Bank
  4. Ambank
  5. RHB  
  6. Affin Bank
  7. Alliance Bank
  8. Hong Leong Bank
  9. HSBC
  10. OCBC

These modules improvised with these features:

  1. Improved pre-payment page
  2. Improved post-payment page
  3. Improved email information
  4. together with B. Melayu translation. 

These modules are for Prestashop 1.6++ 

 

Where your buyers will easily follow the payment process, and there is a login link straight to online banking. Then there is also link to send proof of payment either PDF of snapshot of ATM receipt. These modules evolved time by time since I always encountered with web owner and clients feedback. We finally complete it well. The process to finalize the code are quite time consuming, but you need not to worry. Just enjoy the solution and happy selling with your Prestashop.

Biasanya ia masalah kat friendly url. Cuba main2 turn off/on friendly url dan tgk hasil. Nak analyze pun tak tau camner sebab website untuk reference tak disertakan. Tapi cuba dulu ye.. setting friendly url ada kat Preferences>SEO & Urls (cari Setup Urls -- Friendly Url)

does the payment module have call back action? for example, after customer have made a payment, does it automatically update the payment status ?

Arafat, at the moment the modules are like replacing default bankwire module. If you familiar with bankwire Prestashop, you understand the purpose of this is for accepting payments via ATM, bank transfer from counter or direct bank transfer from online banking. Just some improvement on the overall system bit, for the database separation, which most of people when doing 'rename' method on the tpl files only, the complication gets into the invoice, emails, order records and order-state (payment status). So customers can install 2 or more b bank modules without facing the complication of 'bankwire' status, which is confusing.

 

Updating payment status is not auto, as if ATM, people will show you receipt, and no way you can get this auto. But inside the module also bank link to go for direct bank for the direct online transfer (debit transfer). You will get notification by bank's sms/email once the payment approved. 

 

It is normal module for people who don't ready yet to pay extra cost in opening merchant accounts, and transaction fees. So, no additional cost as bank transfer is direct, and it is just a matter of verify the payment module, in back office.

The autobank with API is under planning, and if you like to join me, we can discuss more, sure it will be an interesting idea, but at the same time, those payment type is already covered by I-Pay and Molpay in Malaysia, and it is free. However, for autobank status payment, each account holder must get permission from bank to get access (PMA, etc) and that is too complicated for small business and part-time business basis.

 

Like Paypal, even if it is integrated to update the payment status, still, the rest of the process, is manually update (preparation and delivery).

i'm currently using prestashop platform. alot of things need to be learn enhance it.

just sharing:

currently i'm using eghl to plugin payment, its works well. of course , need apply as merchant.

i hope my website can be run like 11street, i know , your will be bluff me. but i'm aim to do that.

do you guys have any good experience with prestashop? might pm me.

Boleh PM saya untuk maklumat lanjut.  Kalau nak integrate macam biasa biasa:

Pergi dekat github ada salah satu developer yg develop billplz module

Tapi sebelum integrate memang kena daftar dulu account dengan mereka
