roro_1
I'm using the version 1.4.11 and i would like to update to the last version 1.5.4.1 . I would like to use the module, "1-Click Upgrade" (which is updated at 1.0.26.1 ) Congratulations! You're already using the latest available version your version of Prestashop: 1.4.11.0 last official version for the channel lower: 1.4.11 stable (1.4.11.0 ) then, in the page of the module, by clicking on "check if a new version is available "nothing happens, simply refresh the page without changes. As can be done in such a way to keep all data in the database? Thanks!
tdr170
There is more to this question, Have you made modifications to any of the files, are you using the Prestashop theme, as some themes may not be compatible with 1.5.4 Have you added any additional modules as some may not be compatible with 1.5.4. If the shop is a standard shop no real worries however I always back up everything first. When using the One click you must chose More options (Expert mode) use the drop down and choose Major releases and save. You should now see 1.5.4.1 as the upgrade, have any questions just ask. Before You Upgrade: important! 1 - Download the entire shop (online files) to your computer 2 - Go to MySQL and export a back up of your database. now you have a complete backup in case things go wrong. Now proceed with the upgrade

Now proceed with the upgrade Well, I have done. At this time is not important to do a backup because I'm doing a test after you have inserted only few data. Now entering the new control panel I see everything shifted, I see everything is in confusion and in most points there is the wheel that continues to turn, you clearly the update didn't go well. What can I do? The visualitation of website is correct. So I don't touch the database but only the files about PS. Right?
tdr170
Using your FTP go to cache/smarty/ and clear all contents of the cache and compile folders with the exeption of any index.php and see if that clears up the BO. You said control panel but I think you mean the Back Office. (BO)
