i want to customize default menu

 

how i can easily change the background of the menu block (on top) ?

it's easy to achieve

just go to the file: /modules/blocktopmenu/css/superfish-modified.css

 

and change the background param:

.sf-menu {
margin: 10px 0;
padding: 0;
width: 980px;
background: #383838;
}

okay so i've got question:

1) you use default top horizontal menu?

2) what ps version?

3) you've got CCC turned on?

4) what about force compilation? is it turned ON?

5) what about cache? is it turned ON ?

I don't understand, is there a manual that walks you through changing the background image and how to change the navigation bar?

I want to change my home navigation so when you click on home it take you to the home page and not a drop down menu. You can check out the website at www.availvirago.com to see what I'm talking about.

go to the module configuration page, you can define there new link (yes, simple url).

 

define different url for each language. Click on "add" button. After refresh do this:

 

1) select your new "home" link

2) add it to the right boc

3) click on save button

definitely turn CCC & cache off and force compialtion ON

it's necesary while you're working and changing the template files
