Zeca
Hello, I'm running on prestashop 1.5.4 When I create a test transporter with the most simple rules (one weight rate, the only one taxe VAT of my website is applied), the shipping price is calculated good. (see picture) But on the calculation of the total it makes something wrong with the total taxes line : It make the whole shpping price negative ! If I choose another transporters that I've created, like free shipping, taxes and total amount are calculated well. I tried to delete the transported and re-create it many times but nothing new. This is a really big problem because I have actually to close the orders under 45€ which is the free shiping minimum amount, while waiting it is solved. Zeca
Hello, I've found a solution on local version where I've reproduced the problem : I just deleted all shipping methods and rules in back office, then in database I deleted content of : ps_carrier ps_carrier_group ps_carrier_lang ps_carrier_shop ps_carrier_tax_rules_group_shop ps_carrier_zone When I create it again in back office it works. Now I have to do it on online shop. I have one question : Could Deleting the content of those tables cause problems or other bugs ? Is it really safe to do it? Zeca
Ok the problem is not solved yet, It seems that the total cart is calculating the amount relating exclusively to the default transporter set in transports section of BO ! For example you buy 30€ : First Case : Default transporter is free delivery You choose free delivery. Total is 30€ GOOD You choose pay shipping about 5€. Total is still 30€ WRONG Second Case : Defautl transporter is the carrier which cost 5€ You choose free delivery. Total is 35€ WRONG You choose pay shipping about 5€. Total is 35€ GOOD The point is that the customer choice does not affect on the total line. Like on the first picture I've posted (it was set on free delivery default carrier). The shipment price appears in the list but it is not calculated.
El Patron
does this work correctly when it's below your free shipping price? i.e. for 19.99? in other words does it work properly when there is paid shipping, i.e. free shipping is not offered on the front end? - IMHO if it's free shipping, then it should not display also the shipping for 5 euros. (but I seldom set up shipping and get rusty) and it would appear PrestaShop calculates the product price with the free shipping even if you choose 5 euro shipping. If this is the case then you should consider (assuming you have not modified core) is open a bug report on the forge here: http://forge.prestashop.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa
Zeca
It does not work correctly below the free shipping price too. It apply a free shipping too. That's why I had to disable orders under the free shipping price and disable paid shipping while the problem persists. For the displaying of another shipping methods when it's free it is because you can choose a service of 24h shipment instead of the 48h offered with free shipping. I already opened a forge but I'm not sure they will answer http://forge.prestas...owse/PSCFV-9862 Edited July 22, 2013 by Zeca (see edit history)

Zeca
Hello El Patron, Finally I've found something after hours of "looking for". Yes I had to make a choice quotations or total cart calculation. So I disabled it for the moment. And I've got an idea that it could solve my empty cart problems too. When I try to install this module (quotation) again but with display errors param set true, I see errors (on a fresh test version) and I could reproduce the same problem in front office. I've actually filled the contact form on module support. Let see what will happen. It is an expensive module, so I hope to no be deceived by support! Anyway I will update this topic !
