Juda
Hi ! Well before installing a dev site, I preconise to work on a local copy (means working on his own pc) : - Download/extract your shop (folder prestashop) i.e. via Filezilla - Save your database (You can do it directly in prestashop backoffice) - Then create your local environment (you can try wamp for window, lammp for linux & mamp for mac) - Make change on local - When you satisfied create your dev environment for online test If that sound chinese to you, then maybe you should change your nickname :3... J/K ! Just ask us any question if something don't seems rigth, or if you want further details.

David Hib
Cheers for the advice, I have just move the site to a test site not on the same domain. Just realised that it was a DNS issue with the sub domain. Sometimes you can't see the wood through the trees when your trying to get things done in a hurry. I was thinking I was going mad as it was just not working.

PascalVG
I'll mark this Topic as solved :-) jitenx, I think to complete the story, you should copy the database contents to the newly created database and change the domain name in it as well, right?
