bruce-rez
Hi, In Back-Office > Stats >Pages not found it shows some URL link that says these pages are not found. I tested my website, placed an order successfully. Everything seems working correctly. Questions: 1-Where these files should be located? Does this mean the visitors cannot place an order and do they see the Pages not found? 2-How can we fix this issue? Thank you for any help since my site is on production step I would like to fix this problem as soon as possible. bruce-rez
I see the same ''Pages not found' in Prestashop Stats > Pages not found and in Google Analytics. I am wondering where these pages are coming from?
El Patron
the back office stats, does not log the http address requested...so it's really not terribly useful debugging what page folks are getting a 404 for. probably the easiest way...is to look at your hosting access logs....look for 404, and see if the originating link is there. Where I am I can't look at my server access..doh!

benjamin utterback
HI Bruce, contact your hosting provider and ask for an access log, specifically of your 404 pages. Are any pages not working on your store? Any pages come up with a 404?
bruce-rez
Hi Benjamin, My website seems working correctly, tested and placed orders, going to paypal, etc.... works fine. I don't get any 404 message. The problem is I am affraid that Google indexed these "Pages not found" and 404 messages. I don't get any order so I was wondering there should be a problem and the visitors cannot find the correct pages. I get everyday the "Pages not found" in BO > stats and Google Analytics. Thanks. El Patron
I did a quick test through your shop to paypa, then clicked cancel...so either you fixed it (url defined to paypal)...or it's something I can not reproduce, story short, that worked fine. so please follow up as suggested with your hosting company to obtain access to your 'access' logs...not error logs
bruce-rez
El Patron, Thanks for testing and that reassures me that it worked fine for you all steps until canceling PayPal. I'll check with my hosting about the "access log" and see if I can find any logical answer. Thanks again.
benjamin utterback
Yes, I could find a problem either. It seems that your store is working fine which is priority number 1. As for the "missing pages". Some of these might not be actual pages that you can reach unless you put in the exact URL, you shouldn't have to worry too much about those but it is worth a deeper look to try and clean up any loose ends. bruce-rez
Benjamin, Thanks for confirming. it is worth a deeper look to try and clean up any loose ends Do you have any suggestion (for clean up) except contacting my hosting about 'access' logs? Thanks. Edited July 29, 2013 by bruce-rez (see edit history)
