why have i got lots of abandoned carts ?

Recommended Posts

let's clarify what is Abandoned cart.

When someone add to cart product on your website, then leave it without placing order - this is abandoned cart.

Sometimes crawlers like google bot adding products to cart, in this case you will have also "abandoned" cart - because bots cant place orders in the store.

saying that the site would not allow them to type their e-mail

where exactly? in register form? in authentication page? they can't login? please clarify it

Hi Jamie, I was able to add a product to cart and go through the entire checkout process until PayPal. I registered and added my email.

Are the abandoned carts by guests or logged in visitors? The carts don't necessarily have to be abandoned. All the carts will show, no matter if they clicked check out or not.

Hello Guys,

Well some of the abandoned carts seem realistic but something is stopping them from completing the orders. I don't know anything else about the email problem. I think its during ordering. So I take it all is working on my site ?

Hi,

Are there any ways to hide or block cart/placing orders from search engine bots?
