varunsood
Hi I run an online cakeshop and we take advances from customers at our physical location. The rest is paid upon delivery. Is there any module to record advance payments when entering the order in the back end? Also that the invoice will reflect any changes in the price. Some of our Cakes turn out larger or smaller than planned and as we are charging by the kilo - the invoice needs to be adjusted and value shown. A simple narration is OK for this point - but can we up price or reduce by adding an 'Advance Received" and 'Adjustment' amount with text? regards V
bellini13
The answer depends on the version of Prestashop and which Payment Method you have. If we are talking PS v1.5, you can manually create an order from the back office and select the payment method (like check). This will create an order pending payment. Then you can edit the order, and manually record a partial payment and generate an invoice, which will show X was Paid. You can record multiple partial payments until fully paid, and regenerate the invoice after each
