No payment modules have been installed

I get the No payment modules have been installed message

• I have installed Bank Wire and Check. I tried uninstalling and installing them again
  
• I created new carriers
  
• At the Payment module restrictions everything is marked
  
• The currency is euro (default and only).
  

 

The strange thing is that I got the No payment modules message for a certain carrier that I created (ok I figured, I must have done something wrong) but then I tried a default carrier, the payment modules appeared just fine and the next 5 minutes without changing anything!!!!!!! (really not a single thing) when I tried to test things again I got the No payment modules for that default carrier.

 

Is my falling falling apart? Should I abandon it?

 

Please help I really don’t know what to do

I had the same problem and spent more than a week trying to figure out what was wrong. In my case the problem was payments2carriers module that I installed. I forgot that it needs to be configured. I just marked the payment restrictions in payments2carriers module and everything works perfect. Hope this helps you as well.
