Can't Upload Logo

I am uploading my logo for my website, and no matter how many times I upload it, the "Your logo here" shows up

 

I did have a previous logo up that worked fine, yet when I changed a few logos, new logos won't work

 

 

Keep in mind, I am very novice, and don't know anything about html

 

I have been creating this site based on tutorials and hands on experience

The Logo seems to upload in the back office (I can see it) , yet won't show on my store,

The template I am using is the default template. I tried other themes previously, but now I am using the default.

thanks i just thought that your issue is related to the non-default theme, but as you said - you use default one so the problem is somewhere else. Is there any chance to check your website? it is online? if so please paste the url - I will check it

Actually I looked at my site again, it is not the default theme.

under the back office, can you please go to the preferences > themes tab

then scroll down to the "appearance" section

 

can you right click on the image - then open it in new tab - then paste the url here?

I have tried to fix the issue as you stated, but not quite sure. Do I just save it to the file?

I have found the file in the zip folder, is this where I should look?

 

However, it is asking me how to open the file (under what program)?

 

Where do I go and how to ensure it is implemented

you have to download header.tpl file from your FTP service.

It is located in the path: /themes/default/header.tpl

 

you can open this file with simple text editor like notepad.

 

after save changes - move this file back to path mendtioned above (just upload it) - make sure that you've got backup of this file

I have the same problem. I changed file header.tpl as you said, but just lost standart prestashop logo.

Why I can't to upload logo from admin panel?

I use VelvetSky 3.2 from DapurPixel not the default template

Complementary information, I have just upgraded my website from PS 1.4.4.0 to 1.5.4.1 with theme Velvetsky 1.0 to VelvetSky 3.2 frol Dapurpixel.

The logos are the one from my original PS version, i would like to change the bill logo as the original one does not fit into the new bill.

It is this function that is not working (the logo for the website is ok): upload of new logo impossible.

These are the existing logos (1.jpg)

Upload of a new logo (facture) seems to work (2.jpg)

But the bill still uses the old logo (too big) (3.jpg)

And when I come back to my theme page, I can see that the logo has not changed (4.jpg)

Hi, I finally solved this issue. It is a database problem in ps_configuration table.

After upgrading from PS1.4.4.0 to PS1.5.4.1, there are double entries for

PS_LOGO_INVOICE and PS_FAVICON.

The older entries prevent the new ones from being taken into account.

You simply have to remove the older lines in your table and your new logo is accepted

AshantisBoutik's solution worked for me. There were duplicate database entries for the logos after I upgraded.  Once I deleted the duplicate entries, it worked. Thanks!
