Can't change account info in my account > your personal info

Whenever I go into the front end, go to my account > your personal info, and try to change something, after clicking submit I get "Your password is incorrect".

 

What could be causing this? My identity controller file and theme files seem fine. Any ideas? I'm using 1.5.3.1

 

Here's the error that came up after turning on debug mode;

Notice: Undefined index: old_passwd in /var/www/shop/controllers/front/IdentityController.php on line 60

this is "updated" prestashop ? or you've got 1.5.3.1 from the begining?

It has been 1.5.3.1, I tried to update it through one click but failed, under changed files in Configuration Information there aren't a whole lot of files changed. But the issue has been there before I tried to do upgrade.
