Don't display price when default product variant is selected

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to handle following problem but with no luck

 

I have lots of products in my catalog and all of this products has some attributes. What I want to achieve is, that there will be no price and no add button displayed when default variant is selected so the customer have to choose some value from attribute option to be able to add the product to the basket.

 

I know the value of default select option of every single product (it's the same on every product). I'm pretty sure that solution cannot be so difficult but I've already tried a lot of crazy stuff in prodcut.js and product.tpl but with no success.

 

I tried to modify solution from this thread http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/240356-solved-show-text-link-when-selected-attributes/ but it's quite different from desired solution and doesn't worked properly in my case. I know that I have to somehow work with attribute selected value but I don't know how to make it work.

 

I'll really appreciate if anyone have some clue leads to solve this!
