OliverEggertsen
How do i get the homeslider to get a width of 100%? Should i change the class grid and how and where do i do it? This is my site: preppy ure og smykker Thanks in advance :-)
shacker
your header is 100% of width, but your page section is 980px, so you need to put the home slider in top, not in homepage section
vekia
that's right you have to move this module to the "top" hook, but if this is default slider (i suppose so) you have to modify it (add function to handle new hook), or just use my little modification: homeslider on top after that you need to modify the sources also, because by default this slider doesn't support the full width. it will be hard to achieve (some template and js scripts modifications)
shacker
Yes, and if the theme is not responsive, in small screens the slider cut the images

vekia
can you share url as nemo suggested? usually it's a case of z-index param and it's easy to fix
paul scott1234
It was the z index causing the problem. set it to 100 and working now, thank for the hint.

Salsal
hi. yes, it´s not easy for me to get the homeslider out of the box and set it as a background slider (zindex 1) and the rest above, a static piece of html so nothing moves except for the background my Prestashop Version is 1.6x and i'm working with this solution right now and see what happens http://mypresta.eu/en/art/prestashop-16/full-width-homeslider.html thank you Edited January 28, 2015 by Salsal (see edit history)
