[1.5.4] Price range filter on main menu?

Hi, I'm using rich menu module, asked for support but after days, got no answers.

 

though, I think it's not a matter of the used menu module. It's more a general problem.

 

I'd like to add a price range button to the main menu. Named something like 'price' and with a submenu with 3-4 price ranges. Is that someway possible with default modules? If not, what's the better route to follow? I'm a programmer, you can speak accordingly

No answer here and no answers even on the official module (paid) support (???). I guess I can't do it.. So I built a menu by myself.
