scorpionsworld
Hi, scorpionsworld eiwint say: I think that this links has been created by adminpanel Regards Adminpanel? Where on the admin panel? And secondly, what do you mean with adminpanel, the Prestashop Backoffice?
Alex Simonchik BelVG
Yes, you are right I mean backoffice. http://clip2net.com/clip/m226647/1373290393-clip-43kb.png - CMS Block Configuration but block with topmenu can been configured from other module: http://clip2net.com/clip/m226647/1373290485-clip-50kb.png Live example will help us

My guess is that links in the menu are configured through handmade links in the topmenu module configuration in stead of pages created with CMS Block and then added to the menu dynamically. eiwint
Wow, I am a bit overwhelmed by all your responses. Thank you all for taking the time to look into this newby question. The problem ís that the link I provided is not visible. I created it in Modules -> Top Horizontal Menu -> Label + Link + Add. -> Then activate it in the Settings screen and Add to the right column. And save. This obviously is a way to get the descriptions visible in the menu bar. But what do I have to do to create the real pages? Thanks! Before actually creating the links.Remove the Label+Links you've added to the Top Horizontal Menu module configuration. Go to Preferences->CMS, add CMS Categories and/or CMS Pages to your liking and fill the CMS Pages with content (Can be Lorem Ipsum content just for filling). Then go back to Modules->Top Horizontal Menu and you will see the CMS pages you've just created in the top left selection list under CMS->CMS Categorie name. Add the pages from that selection list to your menu and save.
eiwint
Thanks for your response scorpionsworld. The menu items appeared before in the menu top links section (this was visible under Modules -> Top Horizontal Menu -> Settings). When following your directions I don't see the category Top Links Section (under which the links in the header were placed). Am I confused or do I miss something? Thanks! eiwint
Hi Vekia, I removed it because that is what I thought Scorpionsworld wrote here: Remove the Label+Links you've added to the Top Horizontal Menu module configuration. I'm lost now because I have no idea what to do. I want pages in the top horizontal menu. When I following this instruction: Preferences->CMS, add CMS Categories and/or CMS Pages the pages are filled under Home and not in the top horizontal menu next to eachother. Further my "Home" category changed into a link and with a dropdown menu. I want the Home button to be the homepage. Plus I want to remove the dropdown menu. I know these are multiple questions, but I am a bit off the path. Is there somewhere a newbie user manual? The one from Prestashop itself does not do it for me ... You created and filled the pages in Preferences->CMS? Good. Now go back to Modules->Top Horizontal Menu (configure). You should see a screen like http://clip2net.com/clip/m226647/1373290485-clip-50kb.png As you can see in this screen, on the left hand side you have a selection box where you can select multiple items. Under the item 'CMS' you see the item 'Home' and under this 'Home' you see the pages you have named and created in Preferences->CMS. Click each item you've created in the CMS and add it to the menu using the 'Add >>' button below the selection box in the order you like. As for your second issue. The "Home" you mention is the root category of your catalog, Top Horizontal Menu module creates a dropdown-like menu item automatically with all categories under the "Home" category. If you want to have a "Home" item in your menu linking to the homepage of your shop you must create a menu link using 'Add Menu Top Link' with label 'Home' and URL pointing to your root domain and add this to your menu as well. Hope this explains enough
eiwint
Under which category do I have to make these pages in CMS? I don't want them to appear under home but next to home. Edited July 9, 2013 by eiwint (see edit history)
eiwint
Ok, So I removed the simply created hardcoded links into the top horizontal menu module. When this was done I added a "new test page" to the Preferences -> CMS. I filed it under Add pages. Then went back to the top horizontal menu. I added the new test page. So far so good. But... when I try to open this new test page, there is no content... The content I just added in the CMS page. Here it is and as you can see the page does not have any content. Obviously I have missed somewhere something. But where... http://tiandecy.com/prestashop/en/new-test-page

Can you describe the exact steps I have to take because I am for sure I am not taking the right direction... Thanks a lot (again) In the case of the homepage, create a handmade link in the Add Menu Top Link section of the Top Horizontal Menu module configuration with the label home (or homepage or index) and the url 'index.php', the dispatcher class will then simply redirect the visitor to the correct language url (/en/ or /cz/ according to cookie or default lang).By the way, cz lang website is not working, probably because of iso misspelling (should be cz not Cz)

eiwint
Tried that one but still get a failure message... it automatically adds "content" in the url. And there is no page. What do I have to do to remove the content part (because there I get a 404) and get the normal page? This is what Home gives me: http://tiandecy.com/prestashop/en/content/index.php This is what I need: http://tiandecy.com/prestashop/en/index.php Thanks
