T-bird
I've upgraded from 1.4.9.0 to 1.5.4.1. For the most part the upgrade went really well for a change and I'm really pleased with the new version. I was hoping however that I could copy the content of the Ts & Cs, Delivery, Secure Payment, etc., from the old version into the new one rather than having to write them all over again but I can't find this information anywhere on my saved copy of the old version. I'm assuming they would be .tpl files and I thought they would be in the themes or modules folders but can't find them. Anyone know where I can find this info? Thanks, Andy Edited August 7, 2013 by T-bird (see edit history)
vekia
where you've got these pages in the old version? by default, you can manage content of the CMS pages under the preferences > CMS tab in your back office
T-bird
Thanks, but I don't think you understand the problem. I don't want to have to re-write all the information that was in the old version into the new one, I want to copy and paste it into the new from the old files. Problem is I can't find those files. The CMS tab in the b/o will only allow me to write new material, not copy it from the old version.
T-bird
Does no one know where these files are? The information must be somewhere! If not in a file, would it be in the database? If so, where? Thanks, Andy
vekia
these CMS pages are stored in the database, not in the files. In this case you have to check the ps_cms + ps_cms_lang tables in DB.
T-bird
Yes! The content I need is all in the cms_lang tables, I can copy it from there and paste it into my new CMS pages. Thanks so much vekia. I'll mark this as solved. Andy

T-bird
They're in the database files. If you're using cpanel go into PHP MyAdmin and look for CMS_lang.
idoityourself
Im not using anything, I have no access to anything anymore apart from the backup on the computer. I can open things in text edit or dreamweaver thats it. If I do a search for CMS_lang nothing comes up
