Problems with carriers on checkout

I cannot get the carrier information to update. I've selected USPS and configured, but it only shows priority mail and not the other shipping options such as first class. Also, when running a test, is tells me the selected carrier will not deliver to the address entered. I know this is an error because it is an existing address in the US. Please help!
