st_mctimothy
Hello! I have a serious issue. My server will not allow me to upload (through php) files the exceed 2 megabytes. I plan to sell virtual products, and some of them are well over 2 megabytes! The other way I could do it is to upload those files through FTP and provide a link. Is there a way (such as an upgrade or an addon, for example) to provide the download link to the product, instead of uploading through PrestaShop? Thanks in advance! CYTechnologies
Will your host allow you to update the maximum file upload size in htaccess or in a custom php.ini file?

CYTechnologies
That stinks I would suggest uploading the images via an FTP client and then using the IMPORT tool to add them all to your products. Do you know how to use the import tool?
Vedro
That stinks I would suggest uploading the images via an FTP client and then using the IMPORT tool to add them all to your products. Do you know how to use the import tool? How do you use the IMPORT tool to add the products?I've added the products with the import tool, but it didn't have any references that I recognized for the download component. I'm using the latest release. Just downloaded it 4 days ago and installed it. Began migrating data from documents and a folder of files. I've used all of the tools at hand to get it all ready. What I did do was try importing the info directly into the products_download table...that was a mistake. Presta was not happy. Thanks!Hey also, have you seen that issue where referencing the product images does not show up in the item descriptions?I've been reading and maybe I'm doing something wrong. Quite possible. I've been at this for a too many hours.Ben
