[SOLVED] Prestashop 1.5.4.1 Admin Layout Display Bug

Recommended Posts

Hello everybody,

I have a problem with the latest version of Prestashop to install on my Server (Alfahosting).

At first I want to install it in German, and there are a lot of mutated vowel but has been solved with htaccess. The main problem is the layout, it is not display on the position it should. I tried 5 times, but it's the same. Only on my localhost, there are no problem. Could you help me to get started? It's the first time I tried Prestashop. I attach some screenshot on how it looks like. Also a screenshot from the server configuration. Thank you

You are running the bare minimum requirements of PrestaShop 1.5. Although it says that you are running 64mb, when you are running the bare minimum, its important to try and increase it a little.

If you are trying to have a successful Ecommerce store, you want to make sure you have the requirements. I think even most shared hosts have the default memory at 128mb

The problem is only at the backend, the admin pages. But at the front, there are no problem with the shop. I just looked at the providers page, they also support prestashop with quickinstall but in another package. The only difference is shared-SSL and 80MB memory. I will open a ticket at alfahosting, but I think there is another bug in the shop unlike the memory of the server, because prestashop 1.4.11 works well for me.

Hi guy, the problem is solved somehow I don't know why. After reupload the admin folder, for some reason I can't login in my account. That's why I reinstall this for the 10th times, and it just works. Nothing change till now. thank you all for your effort.

Hi,

I had the same issue on a local installation (with XAMPP / Windows 7).

Setting minimum requirements for prestashop, clearing smarty cache, checking  __PS_BASE_URI__ setting did not solve it.

Then I checked if ../prestashop/css/admin.css gets loaded, and I got an error 500.

So in this case I deleted the .htaccess file in ./prestashop/css/ and this solved this issue for me.

Just for information if this might be useful for someone.
