No invoice or BO update unless customer returns to site - Help

Thanks. Checked ipn history and no ipn sent to shop on this occasion. Also noticed that paypal were doing "work" on their site. One finally came through (4 hours later) the other hasn't come through.

The problem here is that if a customer returns to the site and see's no order - and their product still in the cart (as was the case) they may delete the cart. When the ipn finally arrives, it throws up an error saying the customer paid 90 dollars but cart total is zero.

Will have to wait and see if my other order ever comes through. have checked ipn from both ends, not much more i can do.
