xmilo
Is there a way to clean cache files from admin panel? I had to find and delete the home image slider image from cache folder using ftp. Even if i change the size, it did not apply until I remove file from the physical folder. Thanks.
benjamin utterback
You can if you go to Advance Parameters and choose Force Compile, that will force the regeneration of cache at every page load. Alternatively you can go into cache/smarty/compile cache/smarty/cache img/tmp Delete all the files in the folders, except of index.php.
eleazar
Yeah, currently this seems to be the best solution, Benjamin. But it slows down performance. We recognized an increase of several gigabytes cache data within a few days. I disabled cache now in BO, but although the configuration table of the database shows that smarty cache is disabled it still seems to work in 1.5.4.1. Scary! What can I do to stop it?
