I then make 5 combinations for the product and for each combination I choose "impact on weight None" as they should be the same weight as the 1st product... 1kg. because my shipping is calculated by weight it is for some reason seeing the weight as 0kg for all the combinations and therefore defaulting to the highest shipping cost.
