[CLOSED] Show all categories and sub-categories

Prestashop 1.5.4.1 on windows 7 running oon localhost.

 

Hi

 

I have several categories and sub-categories setup. What I would like to do is when I select a sub-category from a menu option from the top-menu, all sub-categories of the category are shown in the layered navigation block.

 

For example:

 

Category 1:

- Sub-Category 1

- Sub-Category 2

- Sub-Category 3

 

If I select Sub-Category 3 from the menu above, I would like to see all the sub-categories within the parent category shown in the layered-navigation block.

 

Is this possible?

Does anyone know how to show all categories on the layered navigation block, regardless of whether I select a category or sub-category.

 

In other words show all categories and sub-categories all the time.

 

Is there a way to do this using the configuration or would this require a template modification or additional coding.

Yes I was also looking for this but i don't find the way. Hope in future release it will be covered.
