Optimus_Sam
Hi Guys, I have two questions, please lend a second of your time to help me out if you can. I'd be very grateful. 1) Can someone explain to me, in plain english, what DOM elements are? 2) How do you reduce the number of DOM elements on your webshop? I'm using PS 1.5.4.1 on www.verwarmingsshop.be and i have about 1746 DOM elements on my page which i believe slows my website down. I've read that the Yahoo! Home page has under 700 DOM elements and that's one heck of a busy page :-). Thanks in advance. First one to offer a fix gets a prize. I'll tell a joke that's not only funny, but easy to remember and to take along with you so that you can impress your friends with your extreme funny-ness. Don't miss out on this opportunity guys and girls! Kind regards, Sam Edited June 25, 2013 by Optimus_Sam (see edit history)
Piotr Kaczor
You need to completely rebuild theme structure, use less div's etc. But then You will have less CSS styling options specially in older browsers. So just treat that Yslow message as a tip, not as rule.
