Multistore problem display error 404 not found

Hello presta's people,

 

I have created new shop group GlobalStore.

In which i have created two shops named "sports" and "shoes" and

specify url for new shops http://localhost/sports/ and http://localhost/shoes/ .

When i am trying to load new store then it displaying error 404 not found.

 

Is I have to set htaccess file.?

 

Please help me to sort it out.

you've got prestashop installed in the root dir of your localhost? in this case it's necessary,

 

you can create shops with url like:

 

http://localhost/shop/shoes

http://localhost/shop/sports

 

where the /shop/ is the root dir of your prestashop
