CorsetKylie
Hi all, this is my first post, hope I am provided enough info. I am having a little trouble with paypal giving me the wrong address for the purchaser. My website is www.corsetcorner.com.au If a guest uses the yellow checkout with paypal button instead of the long process of putting their details into my website. after they have entered their paypal password on the paypal site, it reverts back to my website, and has a confirm purchase button. If the button is pressed, the email I receive from paypal, and the invoice sent to the customer have the address (sometimes name) of a previous customer. This address is also added to the customers paypal as an alternative address (this is a privacy concern.) If after entering your paypal password instead of hitting the confirm purchase button, you hit the address tab above, you will see it is the wrong address and have the option to change it. (however most customers wouldnt think to do this as it was right in paypal 2 seconds prior. Any advice on what I may need to change would be much appreciated. CorsetKylie
I have updated the pp module to latest version, prestashop is current. reset API details and tried new ones, reset paypal module. the only change I have had is that I can no longer issue refunds direct through my BO I had to refund my tests through paypal directly. error received was Refund operation result:CURRENCYCODE: AUDTOTALREFUNDEDAMOUNT: 0.00TIMESTAMP: 2013-06-25T06:53:34ZCORRELATIONID: 49a77f0f3eacACK: FailureVERSION: 94.0BUILD: 6521170L_ERRORCODE0: 10009L_SHORTMESSAGE0: Transaction refusedL_LONGMESSAGE0: The partial refund amount must be less than or equal to the original transaction amountL_SEVERITYCODE0: ErrorREFUNDSTATUS: NonePENDINGREASON: NoneTransaction error What I have found weird is if I use my normal browser which has info in the cache, as a customer when I get to the paypal screen the address will be my real address which has never been entered into the paypal account I am using to test. (its a friends) If I use an incognito window to test, it shows as the friends address as it should until you continue the purchase. It then sends my address again on the paypal emails, and on the prestashop invoices. At this point my address has now been added to my friends paypal account as an additional address. CorsetKylie
I have worked out that the address given after the purchase, is of the last account used on the website. possibly pp details not over riding the address details as the shop thinks the one entered into the account should be used. However the account is not in anyway related to the current user. Its like the account is just staying open for any user on any pc.
