one PayPal account, two PrestaShop stores

After looking in the forum for hours, I give up with no solution! Apparently one account can be used only for one webiste.

 

This is my case: our company has a PayPal account and one PrestaShop store, all works fine.

We are starting a second PrestaShop store and would like to use PayPal again.

 

Unfortunately, when I setup PayPal in the second store then the PayPal payment in the first store stops working.

Then I setup PayPal in the first store but then PayPal stops functioning in the second one!!

 

I can not found any prohibition about using the same account for more then one e-commerce.

Any other solution without modifying the code?

That is a strange issue. I would actually contact paypal about that one. You should be able to use the api with as many sites ad you want.

I contacted PayPal few days ago and waiting for their reply.

Thanks for confirming that the same API works on many sites.

 

The old site is based on PS 1.4.8 and the new one on PS 1.5.3: do you think it can create problems?

I don't think that would create any problems at all.

I would check your IPN settings in the paypal account. Its possible you have IPN enabled, with a URL pointing to your first store.

 

You should also be more specific about what "the site breaks" means.
