No carriers available for the address "My address".

Hi all:

 

I am going to do 100% drop shipping. Problem is if the order contains items from 2 separate suppliers I need to pay shipping twice. If the order is in the continental 48 US, I can eat part of the cost. If the order is to Hawaii, Alaska or Canada it could be $100 out of my pocket. So I do have any carriers go to these locations.

 

What I was wondering is 2 things:

 

1. Is there a workaround for this when setting up shipping. If the order has 2+ suppliers use a different set of rates?

 

2. If not, where in the code can I modify "No carriers available for the address "My address"."
