Moving database - same DB, different prefix

Hi there,

 

I'm looking to upgrade a prestashop to a newer version (1.5.4.x i believe), coming from 1.4.7.x). Besides that, we're working on a new template (and customized layout) for the newer version.

 

I have installed the new version in the same database, but with a different prefix to it.

 

How would I go about to copying the old database to the new one?

 

I think I could simply change the prefix in the "settings.inc.php" file, since it's the same DB anyway, but I understood the structure of the 1.5 DB is different than before, which probably results in missing databases?

 

Anyone has a workable solution?

Edit: Also, would I be able to copy all product-images? I'm unfamiliar whether or not this is saved within the database.
