Shopping Cart and Order is different

Hi,

 

The site is running on PrestaShop 1.4.10.0. The problem is the different products on shopping cart and order;

 

Customer added one product to cart, it's Product 1. When I look Customers / Shopping Carts in BO, I see that he added just Product 1. The total amount is 75 USD and the Carreer Fee is 9 USD, total 84 USD, this is correct. Then he went into payment process, he paid with his credit card (via Virtual POS), and he paid 84 USD, this is correct. So, cart and payment processes are correct.

 

But when I and the customer receives order mails, 3 different products were added to order, it's like;

Product 2 : 10 USD

Product 3 : 20 USD

Product 4 : 30 USD

Product 1 : 75 USD (the correct product)

 

When I look at Orders in BO, I see the same, 3 different products were added to Order, but the total price is correct.

 

So, there is a problem in Order and Customer / Shopowner mails, some different products are added to them. It's something like Prestashop add other carts to order.

 

What can be the problem?

Hi Hayri,

 

Can it be you deleted old orders lately? There may be some 'left overs' of old orders that have the same order ID as the newly added one, so you see these old 'ghost items' in the new order.

 

So to prevent for future problems like this, check your Database for your current available (valid) order ID's and then check the list of order details if there are any order ID's that are not valid at the moment.

 

The orders that you found to have those ghost items already: you should check manually which ones are correct (i.e. which items did the customer indeed order this time) and which ones aren't. Then delete the wrong ones. Tedious... :[

 

If you didn't delete any old orders, let us know, then we can think further what might be the problem...
