[sOLVED]URL redirection problem...help

 

I use Prestashop to build the website for my company, I installed it in the folder called "shop"

so the URL is

www.kimsion.net/shop

I use the big hosting "bluehost" services.

 

 

Last week, I have transfer the old domain "kimson.com" to the control panel.

And I redirect the www.kimsion.com to Prestashop

 

But after that, I found that I type the URL : www.kimsion.com, yes, it go to the destination I want it to go -- www.kimsion.net/shop

 

But the main problem is that I saw the URL is still : www.kimsion.net/shop, but not www.kimsion.com

 

 

 

I have ask Bluehost that how can I fix this problem, they suggested that I can do it by change it at the Prestashop control panel or change the .htacess file

 

But I am just a green hand....I don't know how to do it

 

Any help can be supported here?? thank you very much

you can chance domain name in prestashop admin panel

go to Admin/preferences/SEO & URLs go to page down you can see Set shop URL settings.

 

if you cannot access admin panel , you have to chance some data in database

open phpmyadmin find ps_shop_url table and set physical_uri

and find ps_configuration table set PS_SHOP_DOMAIN and PS_SHOP_DOMAIN_SSL

hımm i forget someting, you have to regenerate htaccess file. disable friendy url after chance domain name.

delete .htaccess file from root directory

and again set enable friendly url.
