Carolina Custom Designs
I'm warning all developers that visit this forum to beware of any messages from [email protected]. This person has sent my support team 8 messages this afternoon demanding us to replace a "broken" module and for us to send it "urgently". Here is the first message: "I have multi Block. it broken. send update urgently plese." (sic) As there was no order associated with the email address we kindly requested order confirmation before we would send the updated version of Multi-Block. They responded with: "You sent multi block update but it is empty. send again please" Of course we did not send them a single thing. This was just a plot to see if someone else would answer the support ticket and simply send along the module. Luckily, we are a small team of developers so everyone in the office was aware of the situation. They sent several more demanding we send the module "urgently" and each request was met with the same response, "Verify your order and we will gladly send you the module". Lastly, they tried the scare tactic that if we don't send them the module immediately they will post in the forums and complain etc. Here is the last message: "Module broken AGAIN. Not install. 'Failed to install module'. Very bad service. I speak at forums NEVER BUY modules from Caroline Desings! VERY VERY BAD BUSINESS You steel my money and send no update. Send it now or I complain to www!!!" Please keep in mind that we have never sent them a module so this message was completely fabricated. They have yet to verify any order at CCD and we have no record of any orders for them. Please be aware of such scams going on. Marty Shue
