How to make a "One Step" registration?

Hello,

I am wishing to modify the authentication.tpl file in order to achieve "One Step" new user registration by moving the Your Personal Information and Customer Data Privacy boxes to the Log In page.

I tried copying the Your Personal Information fieldset to the Create An Account section, but the Register button is not doing anything.

 

Can anyone enlighten me on what I am doing wrong?

I am not sure what was the error from before, but I just tried again and copied the form to the top and it works fine. But now I am facing an issue when the user enters invalids into the fields, the server processes the form and then spits the error page. But the error page does not have the registration form. Where can I find the code that sets where the error redirects shows up at? and where can can I find the error tpl file? Is that file is the error.tpl located in the theme folder?
