gozzapaul
Hi There, I am really stuck. I still cannot configure a product that has multiple ingredients/selections. I want a product that is 1kg of sweets - where the customer chooses 5 x 200g items to make up the 1KG? then to be able to add to basket. Any ideas how this can be done? Or even if this can be done? Many thanks
Bob Wagstaff
I assume it could be done through the combinations tab, but you would need to list all the possible combinations and permutations, and if you have ten different types of sweet that would add up to 100,000 different choices! PascalVG
You sort of can do this using customization of products, but the customer needs to type in the candy names: Select customization tab, add 5 text fields, press save and stay Add titles for the five fields (candy 1-5 or so) The customer needs to type in the candy names itself, save the customization and then not forget to add it to the cart prone to (typing) error, non availability of exotic candy names typed in etc, so far, far, far from ideal... Probably needs a special purpose module to make it really work. My 2 cents, pascal.
gozzapaul
There is an example of the kind of thing I am trying to do here: http://www.cybercandy.co.uk/store/Brand-Jelly-Belly.html Such a shame that it can't be done in prestashop...
PascalVG
Yes, I had something in mind. You would like the attribute values in a pop up list and then choose. Problem currently is the amount of permutations as Bob mentioned.
