Referrer spam issue

Hello. I have 1.5.2 prestashop version installed on my domain and I am experiencing a Referrer spam issue. As you can see below from my error log file :

[error] [client 176.8.88.90] File does not exist: /var/www/vhosts/domain.gr/httpdocs/Copied-%CE%A0%CF%81.php, referer: http://www.psychologskype.com/

 

I have many errors like this with different referrer each time. I really do not know how dangerous this can be but I am guessing that bots search for security gaps.

 

I would like to know if there are more people who experienced same problem and how did they solved it.

 

I only managed to find this firewall as solution -> ninjafirewall.com and I haven’t tested yet.
