Separate Category in My-Account for Downloads

I am trying to separate digital downloads from regular orders. I would like to make a separate category inside the my-account page which will show only the digital downloads which the customer has purchased without displaying the other order information. I still want to have an orders category which will display relevant information for none virtual products. My attempts to do this have not worked out. I could info on what files I will need to change.
