Dolke Posted June 17, 2013 Share Posted June 17, 2013 Hi to all, As some of the most valued contributors on this forums already know, recently I started a topic where we discussed optimal hosting environment for running medium size PrestaShop website and we also discussed some hosting providers, their bad and good sides and so on... This thread can be found HERE. I just got offer from a friend to try his hosting environment which is MS Azure cloud hosting and Im making all necessary adjustment in order to make clone of my current prestashop website. I need some help from you regarding this task. What I have done so far i I made a dump of my prestashop DB and import that same dump on the DB on the new server over a clean install of prestashop on the new server that my friend already did for me. No Im transferring my prestashop data files. I have question regarding this part of the transfer. Can I just delete the contents of the public_html folder and paste files from the old server, or do I just overwrite them?
