shopping carts appear triplicated from backoffice

Recommended Posts

I'm finding my shopping carts list quite messy.

Sometimes, when a guest (or not) customer creates a shopping cart it appears triplicated or duplicated in the shopping carts list. I say sometimes because this is randomly happening :/

Luckily, when an order is placed it doesn't triplicate, but I'm worried this may cause trouble on the purchasing process or something.

Anyone with the same problem?

Somebody know what is this caused by?

thanks!

Can it be that you use a non-default theme? It may be that the blockcart module is not up to date with the prestashop version and cause this problem. So first see if there is an update for the Prestashop version you use of your theme.

If this isn't available, you can try to change one file at the time the blockcart module files from the default theme to your own theme and see if that fixes it. (make a backup of your all files in the blockcart folder in your own theme before doing so!)

Hope this helps,

pascal.

I used the default theme as a template to create my own one, but I was using 1.5.17 when doing that and the version that got installed in the server when publishing the site is 1.5.3

I'll check if the files are different. I'll tell you what happened, thanks for the help! :)

Gipielle,

Do you use a custom theme? Check if there's an update for the Prestashop version you use. It's probably a problem that the theme developer changed a shopping cart file a little (to fit the theme), and Prestashop modified the file afterwards as well, so the theme file(s) doesn't have these newer prestashop changes in them.

So see if they have an update that matches your Prestashop version. otherwise try the solution as described above (change one file at the time and see if that helps). Don't forget to make backups first!

Also, try to temporarily change to the default theme and see if that fixes the problem. Then you know it's theme related
