BJC
Hello, I've just upgraded from 1.5.2.0 to 1.5.4.1 and it went fairly smoothly. However, even though all of my categories and products are visible in the BO, they do not show in the categories block on the live site. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling this module several times, but now I am stuck and really need some help to fix this. I am using the default theme until all of the upgrade issues have been resolved. Here is the link: http://www.thesilverwareguy.com/ Thanks. vekia
and when you put the categories to the top horizontal menu module, are categories work there? can you try?
Dallerdkj
When you upgrade anything, always check back on the modules if there is some errors.
BJC
Yes, they are working fine in the top-nav (please see the site). However, there are too many to be able to list them all there.
vekia
maybe try to upload new blockcategories module to your store? it looks like problem with module (because it doesn't work in default and your own template)
BJC
I have already tried this twice, but it did not seem to fix the problem. I will try it again and see if anything changes.
BJC
I have managed to fix this problem. First I uninstalled the categoriesblock module. Then I deleted the entire folder via FTP and manually cleared my cache. Then I uploaded the folder again, installed it in on the modules page and this seemed to fix it. Please note that manually clearing the cache was the key because I did try this multiple times, but it only worked properly once the cache was cleared.
