[solved] how to move files from a module to theme module

It's posible to copy for example from :

modules/homefeatured/homefeatured.css to themes/modules/homefeatured.css

I want to make changes only for my current theme so the file from modules/homefeatured/homefeatured.css i wish to remaine intact.

yes, and this is the best method to overriding module files.

 

for css - put it here:

 

themes/your_theme/css/modules/homefeatured

 

when the css file is there - everything will work well

if you want to move .tpl file, move it to (homefeatured exmaple)

 

theme/default/modules/homefeatured/homefeatured.tpl
