Changing Shop ID (unique shop)

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Trying to change a multishop store to a single shop, i need to save only one shop which ID is 3.

So i delete shop 1 and 2, i delete databases values that contains shop 1 and 2...

All is working fine but not the categories names (only in the back).

When i go on the categories list, the names are taken from the Shop 1, not the 3 (new default shop).

But if i display the categories details, the name is correct.

Is there a solution ? Prestashop seems to get the wrond shop ID on this page :/

(Multishop disabled)

Thank you.

Do you use the latest ps version? The versions before had some problems with sorting categories in ms mode. Maybe you should upgrade and or try to play around and hope that you get a good result e.g. change root cat of shop 1 to the one you call new default shop and so on or make a new group and copy all the data from shop3 to the new shop in the new shop group and than disable the others. I know from experience that the category sorting espacially in ms mode is relatively complex due to nested tree sorting. Changing them by hand is not so easy because you first have to basically understand the nested set model.

Good luck, trip

Hi Trip, thanks for the answer.

However, i can't upgrade to the last version, causing some issues. So i prefer to stay on 1.5.0.17.

My cat tree is good, all is perfect, just the names of the cats on the back aren't displayed (cause i don't have shop ID 1).

I thought we could resolve that with a little modification of some PS files, but i don't know how :)

I am having the same exact issue, even still after updating all the way to 1.6.0.6, I got rid of my shop with ID 1, and only my shop with ID 2 is left. However there are some views in the back office that do not shop the names and descriptions, such as the Categories List and the Preference > SEO & URLs list, and the Product Name in the product list.

On the database everything seems correct. How can I force the queries to look for shop with ID 2 or how can I change all the tables with 'shop_id' 2 to 1?

Thanks
