GregMaClean Posted August 16, 2009 Share Posted August 16, 2009 Hello,I'm working with 1&1;hosting services, and under their 'MySQL Administration Panel', they state that their databases may not be use by applications that put extreme loads or use constant connections with the database. Damien Metzger Posted August 17, 2009 Share Posted August 17, 2009 PrestaShop do not use permanent connections.As for the extreme loads, you should never forget that it's an e-commerce CMS which means that even if it's one of the faster shopping cart software, it still a big project, not a simple blog.
