Changing installation defaults

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how I can change the default values and products that are created when installing prestashop. For instance I would like to change default currency to GBP and remove all default products and categories (ipods etc).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can change the default currency here :
Back Office >> Payment >> Currencies
Default currency

You must have created the currency before.


For the default products, you have an option in the step 3 of the installer that allows to choose a simple installation, without these products. Be careful, with this install, no module will be installed and you'll have to do it manually.
