Product name is not changing

Hey,

 

After i changed the product name in the CMS it is showing correctly on the product page(product.tpl). <h1>{$product->name|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}</h1>

 

But on the product list(product-list.tpl)

<a href="{$product.link|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}" title="{$product.name|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}">{$product.name|truncate:30:'...'|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}</a>

 

Its holding the old name and nothing changed. i can fill in whatever i want but noting happens.

it looks like cache issue, try to clear cache in your store

the best thing, in my opinion, is to clear directories:

cache/smarty/cache

cache/smarty/compile

i cleared the browser cache, cache and compile folder but still nothing changed.

and what about languages? Maybe you change different language in BO ?

Sorry but what is BO?

 

The only language i got is Dutch!

BO - it mean Back Office (CMS)

I deleted the eng and added the Dutch lang

it's better to disable default language than delete it.

i think that this is the main problem in this case

What if i update my prestashop version to 1.5.4?

 

Is it easy to update an version?
