maximum quantity reached error (custom scripting)

Hello,

 

I created a script that is generating certain combinations for multiple products. On the product page, all combinations, attributes and prices are shown correctly but when I try to add a product into basket I get: 'You already have the maximum quantity available for this product.'

 

Combination ID that ajax sends is correct and it has a representation within database in (ps_product_attribute and ps_product_attribute_combination).

 

I've seen that there was a similar response to my problem in here (http://www.prestasho...antity-reached/)

Note: solved, there was an error with the combination id... but the error message is confusing

 

But it remains unclear to me what was the issue and solution.

 

I'm using prestashop 1.5.3.1
